Useful before searchable.
Our guides are written for Shopify merchants making real inventory and pricing decisions. Search visibility is a distribution goal, not a reason to publish filler.
How we write
- We lead with a direct answer and define the assumptions behind it.
- We prefer primary sources, especially current Shopify documentation.
- We label hypothetical examples and never present them as customer results.
- We distinguish arithmetic from judgment. A formula can calculate a rate; it cannot know a product's merchandising context.
- We disclose where Sale House is relevant and where a non-discount action may fit better.
Use of AI tools
Gradient may use AI tools to help organize research, test clarity, or draft structure. Every published article is reviewed for factual accuracy, product truth, unsupported claims, and practical usefulness. We do not publish large batches of unreviewed, automatically generated pages.
Corrections and updates
Each guide displays a review date. We update articles when Shopify behavior changes, when the product changes, or when a material error is found. Readers can report an issue through Gradient support.
Commercial relationship
Sale House is Gradient's product. Articles may link to its Shopify App Store listing when the product is relevant. That relationship does not change the calculations or source citations presented in a guide.
